Purchase: I got this saddle for Christmas and my grandparents bought it from Dover's Saddlery for $1,549.00. I was about to choose the Pessoa but I changed my mind because of the bad reviews about the leather in the past.

Likes: The best thing about this saddle is the immediate comfort you get. I had been riding with my trainers completely broken in Pessoa and this saddle felt just as comfortable if not even more comfortable, so I cant wait until I break in this Saddle! I also liked the recessed stirrup bars. I also have a problem with squeezing my knees against the saddle rather than squeezing with my calves, but the second I got in this saddle it completely disappeared, it was freakish. Also this saddle is super comfortable, I could probably go on like a five hour trail ride and not be sore. One last thing, I loved the saddle cover, I was expecting this small little cheap one, but this one is awesome, it's Green w/ red letters on it and it's got fleece on the top.

Dislikes: This is nothing that I really dislike about the saddle but if you want me to be really picky I have a couple of things. The first is that when it was shipped to me it had this really weird white like powder on it(which came off after I oiled it) and it is a lot darker than the Dover's picture. The next is that there is no information on manufacturing information and no other matching tack other than the girth and leathers(which I also got for X-mas).P.S. The stirrup Leathers are really big and difficult to put in and adjust(which will probably go away when I break them in).

Quality: The construction so far is superb but I have only had it for a couple of months, but it looks like it will have no trouble!!

Summary: I love this Saddle and recommend it to anyone who jumps(like me) or just enjoys long, comfortable trail rides. It has improved my Flatwork and jumping form so much! It is totally worth the list price of $2400!
