Purchase: I first acquired my Ariat boots for a Mother's day gift. My husband bought them at Cowboy country, a tack shop in Port Angeles, Washington. He paid about $140 new.
Likes: I love the yummy butter texture of the leather and the cushy tongue to protect my feet from those laces. I have never found a ladies boot with a cushy tongue until these Ariat Glacier Lace. Cushy comfy feet are very important to me. Once my feet start to feel achy, you can forget about me, and I am done for the duration! I am like that in any sport.
These boots are waterproof yet, the leather breaths. They also have a special lining to keep me dry and have a gortex bootie in there somewhere.
I love how they look. The boots retained their black color! Other black boots that I have worn turn green after a month of my kind of torture. My husband says I am really tough on my boots.
Dislikes: I LOVE these boots. They may be uncomfortable to sleep with.
I love that the company send me a replacement, free (this time). I really would not like the drama of a new pair every six months, although the comfort is worth it.
