Purchase: I bought these boots from State Line Tack, paid $120.
Likes: I bought these paddock boots to replace my Mountain Horse boots for winter riding. I like that these boots are slimmer and more flexible. And they keep my feet very warm. These boots also feature a lot of Ariat's "technology" like 4LR and such but I can't tell the differnece between that kind of thing. All I can say is yes, they are very comfortable, warm and waterproof, and I enjoy riding in them in the cold weather. I used to ride in Mountain Horse Rimfrost Paddock Boots but they were too bulky for riding. I couldn't flex my ankles and get my heels down. The Ariat boots are much more flexible for this.
Dislikes: Nothing so far.
Quality: I've had these boots for 2 months now and after pretty heavy use they seem to be keeping up very well. I have always been pleased with Ariat boots lasting for a few years.

Summary: I am glad I purchased these boots to replace my Mountain Horse boots for riding. I love both pairs actually. I will still use my Rimfrost pair for barn work because they are so warm, and ride in the Arctic Lace pair.
