Purchase: I purchased these boots from an online tack store on sale around $180. I wanted a tall boot to school in and for the money the boots had all the qualities of high end boots that cost twice as much.
Likes: I like the full length zipper for easy on and off and the elastic gusset along the calf for extra give. They even have padded ankles. They are very comfortable to ride in and polish up well to show in. The boot is well made and the leather is of good quality. The break in time was only a handful of rides and they hold their shape well.
Dislikes: The boots only come in whole sizes. I normally wear a 9.5 but the 10 fits well. I recommend going a size up if you need a half size.
Quality: The leather is nice and soft. And the stitching is well done. I expect these boots will last a long time.
Summary: An excellent pair of boots. Has everything and $400 pair would have for half the price. Well worth the $200.
