Jumping Saddles
Manufacturer: Dover
Model: Circuit Elite
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: Dover Saddlery catalog order
$799.00
I bought this because I had always heard good things about Dover.
Likes: It's a comfortable saddle at a reasonable price.
Dislikes: This saddle did not perform at an acceptable level. I used it a good 5 times a week for lessons, practice and even trail riding. The dye came out of the saddle when I was caught in the rain one day. They replaced it for me. But the second saddle had the same problem. Where the stirrups hit the flaps they dye came out. Also, the stitching on one of the flaps came out after only a few weeks.
Quality: I think Dover has had a problem with the tanning on this line of saddles.
Summary: Dover has been very accomidating to me and have allowed me to upgrade to a different brand and model after having to return 2 of the Elites. I just expected more quality with the Elite but was disappointed over-all.
