Purchase: I acquired my wonderful cowboy hat from a Tractor Supply store about two years ago. I paid $49.99 for the hat even though at the time I was scraping for money. I needed a hat in order to show in the county fair. The first year with the hat I definitely did just that. I basically did the splits in front of the whole county and then had to dust dirt off of myself for nearly two weeks.
Likes: This hat is different from the other hat that I obtained from my well-to-do Uncle Duane. This hat does not give me irritating and mind welling headaches as did my previous one as well as others I have worn before. This is probably because it is self-conforming which makes it wonderful because my show buddies do not choose to steal my hat because it fits to my over-sized, gigantic head. Also, if mistakenly left in the heat and it falls out of shape, it is very easy to mold back into shape.
Dislikes: I can honestly say that I have not yet found anything that I do not like about this hat.
Quality: The hat is built well and holds it's shape as long as you keep your wits and do not leave it in a steaming hot vehicle as I have before done. As I said though, if you do make this mistake you can very easily fix your mistake. This hat is built very well compared to others I have had the head bashing honor of wearing.
Summary: I must say I love my hat. I have also already raved to my friends and told them that they need a Resistol "Self-Conforming" Slinger so that they too can have the clear head that is always needed on show day.
With this hat, you can forget about the Tylenol and just worry about looking your best and getting the job done.
