Purchase: I bought this for my high withered quarter horse that was ridden in a western saddle most of his life. I bought this saddle based on a suggestion by a friend to try english and because of his shape a western saddle did not suit him. I purchased it from a retailer on EBay for 699.00 including girth, stirrups, leathers and saddle pad and feel it still holds close to that value if I thought about selling it. Everything about my QH changed for the better - although he was a great horse to start with :) - the switch to this saddle made a wonderful improvement in riding him. I have 3 other horses that I need to buy saddles for and am leaning heavily back to the wintec but it is hard to find a brown wintec in the synthetic.
Likes: I love, love, love the changeable gullet. I have switched the gullets out at various times over the last 3 or 4 years. I have ridden in shows and trail rides with this saddle and it is very comfy and still looks good and holds up very well to wear.
Dislikes: The unavailability of getting a brown version of this specific model saddle. I like wintec's other 500 A/P but don't like the plasticity look of the brown.
Quality: Made very well - durable
