Purchase: I had been looking for a leather bridle that was nice looking but not overly expensive. I had owned only nylon bridles and I felt that I needed to add a leather one to my collection. I found my bridle at Tractor Supply for about $50.00. I thought it was very pretty and would look great on my dark bay mare. So, I was able to come up with the money and I bought the Deer Ridge Bridle.
Likes: I liked the bridle because it had contrasting colors of leather on it. It was beautiful and was made of soft, delicate, supple leather. I guess you could say that it was beautiful without being extravagant.
Dislikes: Once I got the bridle home, I realized that the thinness of the straps might cause problems. Well, the bridle did end up breaking. It lasted for a couple of months and one day my friend was not using her brain very well and now I have a broken bridle.
Quality: The construction of the bridle was good. It seemed to be put together well but I would have thought that it should not have broken as easily as it did.
Summary: The bridle is a nice one that does look good, but you have to be extra careful with it.
