Purchase: I bought this bridle new for $120 as a show bridle for my welsh pony.
Likes: It's a strong bridle (for my very strong pony). It looks extremely attractive and holds up well against just about anything. I've never had any problems with it rubbing, my pony has never appeared to be uncomfortable in it, even after hard rides when he's sweating quite a bit.
Dislikes: Not much to say, there's nothing I don't like about it. I've never paid more than $100 for a bridle before, so I guess that could be a complaint, but on the other hand you get what you pay for. It's a great bridle.
Quality: It's very strong, but doesn't appear to be "thick" or bulky. I've been using it daily for about a year and a half and it still looks new (but feels broken in). I originally bought it to use only for shows, but I liked it so much that I started using it for every day riding.
Summary: Bottom line, this is a great bridle. It hold up better than any bridle I've owned previous, it's attractive, and great for shows but strong enough for daily riding.
