Purchase: I wanted a new english saddle, so I bought this saddle new from Salem Saddlery and paid $1259.
Likes: The leather felt broken in from day one. It is also a very comfortable saddle to ride in and it puts you in the correct position.
Dislikes: The price!!!
Quality: I read a couple of reviews that said that they had problems with the leather. I have not had any problems yet...knock on wood. I know the Pessoa name and the standards that they have to live up to, so I know the quality is good.
Summary: Great saddle. If you want to get into a Pessoa but don't have $1700, I would suggest giving this one a try.
