Purchase: I bought this rug 2 1/2 years ago at Windmill Feeds for my native pony. it cost £123.
Likes: It's sturdy and infinitely waterproof despite the hardest rain. It is very durable and has only ripped once in the time i have had it.
Dislikes: The fillet string is slightly too long and this makes the rug a touch baggy despite being the right size for him. It could also be a bit warmer because even though it is claimed to be a heavy weight I would not use it on it's own over winter if my pony is clipped and going out. It's expensive.
Quality: It is a very durable rug, built to last and it has. The clips at the front create a snug (but not tight) fit and my pony i not rubber around the shoulder by regular use. The belly straps can be shortened o the correct length and the tail guard covers his dock well.
Summary: an excellent rug that I expect to last a long time. It is a good fit and I trust it to keep him dry, if not completely warm. Having clips to attach a hood would be an improvement.
