Purchase: My friend bought these at our local tack shop when we moved away from our first yard as we had to supply our own tack cleaning equipment. Each bottle costs between £7 - £9 depending on where it is purchased from.
Likes: Stage one cleans the tack well and is easy to use. Stage two really looks like it's working, doesn't foam too much and the spray from is quicker and easier to use then saddle soap.
Dislikes: The bottle mechanism sometimes creates an odd spray and it tends to go everywhere. It can be messy, is expensive and not that easy to get into. It can also be quite greasy, both on the tack and on fingers. As well as this, it can streak if left too long before it's rubbed in.
Quality: The bottle can be ineffective with an odd spray. Ultimately it creates a good shine and leaves tack supple. It has the same effect as the saddle soap, but I prefer the solid form to really look after my tack.
Summary: I have reverted to using my own saddle soap at home because I find it more effective. My friend continues to use the sprays though and tells me that she doesn't think the solid soap looks like it's working. I would only use the sprays if I had no choice but they remain effective all the same.
