Purchase: I saw the article in The Horse Journal and bought the liniment for around 16 dollars at my local feed store.
Likes: As an occasional liniment after strenuous workouts for both my horse and myself, I found it to be a wonderful product. It reducing the pain in my joints and muscles and my horse is less stiff the next day when I use it on him.
I am an equine massage therapist as well and I use it on my horse clients after an intense sports massage or if I am helping the horse heal from lameness problems.
Dislikes: My dislike is not about the product itself. I use it intermittently and it works wonderfully.
When used properly, the benefits of arnica and Sore no More are amazing. Like any wonderful thing, it does have its side effects. The research on Arnica, which is one of the main ingredients in Sore No More, says "when used frequently or for long periods, arnica can cause contact dermatitis" (www.wholehealthmd.com)
I have seen this once on one client who used arnica (not Sore no More) on an almost daily basis. I used Sore no More on a weekly basis for my equine massage clients and have never had a skin irritation occurrence with them.
Quality: Excellent!
Summary: I would highly recommend this product. Be a smart consumer though and research and know what you are purchasing. Everything is better in moderation and this product works wonderfully in that way.
