Purchase: I bought this saddle at a Mary's sale for about $1100 new. I have been looking for a nice close contact saddle for quite some time. I had also been eying the Harry Dabbs saddles. I have a friend at my barn that owns one and is very happy with it.
Likes: I love this saddle. It looks, feels, and rides great! It is the most comfortable saddle that I have ever ridden in! The seat is very comfortable and the knee rolls make it easy to sit the trot and canter. The saddle also puts me in the correct seat. I am a forward rider and this saddle helps me settle into the correct position comfortably. I have owned this saddle for about 4 months and ride in it 3 to 4 times a week. It hasn't shown any sign of wear yet. The dye hasn't rubbed away.
Dislikes: I can't recall anything that I do not like about this saddle.
Quality: The construction of this saddle is excellent! It is great quality leather. The leather was easy to break in. There are no major rubs from the leathers. I can see myself riding in this saddle 10 years from now and it still looking great. It also has a very sturdy tree.
Summary: I am in love with this saddle and I would recommend it to everyone. It is worth the money.
