Purchase: I practically stole this saddle on eBay. I paid about $650 for the saddle, before shipping.
It was quite a fight, and I haven't seen any more of this make on eBay since.
For good Reason!
Likes: This saddle immediately fits the horse and rider. The buffalo or elk (I forget which) hide which makes up the seat, jockey skirt, and flap, is extremely soft and "grippy". When you sit in the saddle, you immediately feel "perfect", there is no fighting to keep your legs close or posture erect. And unlike some other dressage saddle I tried, this one didn't make my seat bones hurt!
Dislikes: Not exactly a dislike, but the first thing I noticed is that while the tree is a medium, the twist is a wide. Not a terribly big deal, but the first few minutes were amusing!
Quality: For the price, this saddle is unbeatable!
If you are just a recreational rider, this saddle could be an heirloom to pass down, for a lifetime.
For the professional, I would swear by the quality.
I will never own another type of dressage saddle.
Summary: I bought this saddle used, and it was already perfectly broken in, but my friend liked it so much that she got a new one, and we can't tell much difference!
This saddle, while a tad pricey, is well worth the money.
