Purchase: My first experience with this product was after I won a bag at at a horse show. We had excellent success with it and have continued to purchase Missing Link Plus from PetsMart.com for $39.99. I have recently found the product on other www sites for about ten dollars less.
Likes: I have found this supplement to be very palatable for the particular horse I have been feeding it to. She tends to be a very picky eater but had no problems transitioning onto Missing Link Plus.
Dislikes: I like the fact that this product is all natural and has no preservatives however, it does need to be keep refrigerated after the bag has been open. It becomes a matter of remembering to bring a dose from the house at feeding time.
Quality: Nice sturdy resealable bag.
Summary: The particular mare I am feeding Missing Link Plus to is a 13 yr old QH broodmare. She is a bit arthritic and has become very stiff. Our blacksmith suggested trying a glucosamine supplement on her however not all joint supplements are approved for broodmares. Missing Ling Plus is a multi-vitiamin with glucosamine that is approved for breeding stock. After the 4-6 week initial loading dose we began noticing a significant improvement in the mares movements. We now keep her on Missing Link Plus year round and she is doing wonderful. I would highly recommend this product.
