Purchase: I bought my Rainsheet at Karlynn Equestrian Supplies in Ontario. I paid about $150.00 for the blanket.
Likes: My gelding is turned out with a group of VERY rough horses, whom are all blanketed as well. I was worried at first of putting it on him, as it had lasted him one season before (I layer it with other blankets for more versatility). In two long seasons of wear, the sheet still looks great.
I had heard mixed opinions about this blanket, but it has done incredibly well in my horses tough environment. It has only about 5 tiny little holes (which can be patched),no rips, and only a few little scratches. All the other horses have gone through at least two blankets this winter. Mine has had his original.
Fit was hard for me, as my gelding is narrow in the chest and wide behind, and the Treadstone has never rubbed him, and he wears it 24/7 and it washes up wonderfully as well.
Dislikes: There isn't much I don't like about this blanket, as I am searching for my second one, so I can rotate better.
The brand label did crack and break off in the cold weather, but it does not affect is performance. He is still very dry and happy underneath.
Quality: It fit my geldings chest very nicely, as some blankets really rub him.
I could not be happier with the quality, we all like blankets to be indestructible, and while none are completely this way, the Treadstone has held up wonderfully!
Summary: I would definitely recommend this blanket to others, I have heard mixed reviews, but my experience has been wonderful. My horse always comes in dry, and it is a good value for the price.
