Likes: Really classy looking. base of helmet is sealed-can't see the foam. Lining is cushy and soft tightens with drawstring. EAZY to size -turn the knob on the back to tighten and loosen, also comes with foam pads, but they aren't really needed. The helmet fits me, but also can be adjusted to fit my 8 year old in seconds!! Comes with a black velveteen cover, button, and ribbon for the back.
Dislikes: May be an old (2000 vs 2001) SEI certified model, but better than our borrowed school helmets or the old bike helmets we were using.
Quality: helmet has a visor (for looks only). leather trimmed 1/2 inch wide straps(harder to twist). all sealed foam. mesh lining and ventillation holes also lined to keep out the hay & flies. Helmet is SEI certified to astm f1446-00/f1163/00. We bought black and midnight-(a very dark blue).
Summary: Very nice helmet for not a whole lot of money. Also comes with a great oval hat box. The Toscana is being discontinued, but fairlystable still had some.
