Purchase: I bought this pad at the Equine Affaire Fairplex, Pomona CA. I believe it was "on sale" for $229.00 + tax so a total of $250.00.
Likes: I liked that the pads were removeable for washing.
Dislikes: My reined cow horse trainer and I both hated this pad. It squished down to absolutely nothing, offering no protection to your horse's back. It also caused a previously great fitting saddle to slip a lot.
Quality: The pad appears to be well constructed, but the inside temperpedic foam is too thin.
Summary: When I returned this pad with the "unconditional 30 day guarantee" which he had told me to ride in it for 30 day and see how I like it. He charged me $35.00 for a cleaning fee because I had used it once.
