Purchase: I bought these boots from State Line Tack for about $20 in November of 2005. I do mostly trail riding but I occasionally jump with them.
Likes: These boots are pretty well made, they stay put and don't absorb water! They are remarkably easy to clean and offer great protection and shock absorption.
Dislikes: I love these splint boots, but they don't release heat very well and I wouldn't recommend keeping them on for long periods of time.
Quality: Great quality and protection for the price.
Summary: Davis offers a great splint boot for the $20 I paid for them - they have held up great. I use them about 5-7 hours a week and almost 4 months later they are holding up very nice. I don't have any complaint with the stitching or velcro closures.
