Purchase: I bought these at a local tack store for about $20 I think.
Likes: I like the materials Davis uses, the rubber outer layer and the neoprene inner layer. It doesn't collect water or weeds.
Dislikes: No-turn, please. These boots turn and slide all over the place, and rubbed the hair on my gelding's pasterns off so much I had to stop using them after a few rides.
Quality: The velcro is detaching from the vinyl layer, the stitching is very poor. I had medium size for my gelding who probably needed a large and they still turned all the time. I got so annoyed I removed them within minutes of dismounting, fixing the position, mounting, walking, dismounting to fix them again, mounting up again, and repeating way too many times.
Summary: I'd go for the cheap $10 ribbed bell boots rather than these.
