Purchase: Four Winds has this for $441.15 and that includes Wintec fittings! I bought it there because of the deal.
Likes: I love the easy change gullets. My horse had a terrible bucking problem and no one could help us. We went through thevet, farrier, saddle fitters and even a chiropractor. Finally a friend had me try her Wintec and to all ofour suprise - she did not buck once! Needless to say, I traded in my HDR the next week. I am able to change the tree size for her with ease, and now she is comfortable and so am I. Since we began using this saddle his coat stays in better shape and he seems not to sweat as much either. The knee blocks are adjustable and the seat is more of a flat-deep so it's supportive as well. I like the fact that it's easy to clean because it's 'equi-leather' - hello? just hose off!
Dislikes: I am a bit skeptical about showing in this. Hopefully judges won't mind that it's not leather.
Quality: Even though it's not leather, from a distance, it does have a bit of a sheen to it. I've only had it a few months so as for long-term quality, I'll have to check back.
Summary: If you have a horse that changes shape as much as mine, I'd get this saddle. I think everything I wrote above tells you why!
