Purchase: At local tack store for $599. Needed a better way to clean coats without having to bathe show horses during the cooler months. People who have lots of show horses in their stable said they loved their vac.
Likes: It really gets up the dirt and dander left behind after brushing. The coat is left shinier because the natural oils have not been washed away from bathing. It has as much suction as a shop-vac but much quieter and comes with lots of grooming attachments. I like that it can be wheeled around as needed.
Dislikes: Expensive.
Quality: Simple, solid and of great quality. I know people who have had theirs for many years and it still works as well as the first day.
Summary: Although it is a splurge, it works really well and and quickly. Worth it for a show stable.
