Purchase: I bought this from a Greenhawk for $99 CAN + tax. (I got this a few years ago, so I think it is even cheaper now - $75) It is an excellent price for such a nice helmet. It came in a box with foam pads. This was my first helmet (and is still my only helmet).
Likes: I really like the style of it. For such a good price, it also had a great look. I really wanted a nice velvet helmet and this was exactly it. The velvet is easy to clean if it is ever dirtied and does not scuff easily. It has held up really nicely for the past few years, so obviously the quality is great. (And I am quite rough on my stuff!)
Dislikes: Nothing really. Sometimes I feel that it might be a bit too loose, but they do include foam pads (so I have used those). But that is just me, it may fit you perfect.
Quality: It seems to be of great quality. I have used it for years and it still looks new! It has been in the rain, been on floor, etc and it is still in great condition. I school in it, I show in it, this is my only helmet!
Summary: I'm really happy with this helmet. It is a traditional black velvet helmet. It has lasted a long time! I don't think there is much more I could ask for a helmet, for such a good price too!
