Purchase: I bought this at Greenhawk on sale for $115+tax (regular: $129). I purchased this because my feet were FREEZING in the winter - my toes would be so numb, it was painful. I heard that mountain horse was a reputable brand, and their winter boots were really good - and this proved to be true.
Likes: I like how they REALLY kept my toes & feet warm. That's the end of painful or numb feet for me! And even when it was very cold, they still did their job really well. Inside the boot is quite nicely padded, so the bottom is very comfortable as well!
Dislikes: The zippers get stuck sometimes; they can be hard to zip up/un-zip. But that is manageable, not a huge issue there. BUT one thing I really don't like - for some odd reason, sometimes the zipper/back of the boot digs into my feet when I walk (only sometimes, which is weird) and its extremely painful. But it has only happened like 5 times for the many times I've worn it, which is odd (this isn't a breaking-in the boots issue).
Quality: I think its really good quality and durable. They are also really easy to clean. There are no marks on my boots right now I believe! They are still in great condition after a few years.
Summary: I always tell people... I have no regrets for buying this pair of boots! I hate riding in the cold without a good pair of insulated boots... and these do that job perfectly! So if your toes are freezing in the winter... these boots will definitely do the job!
