Purchase: I bought this saddle 6 years ago for $1200AUS with the flock filling. I bought it for every day use and dressage competition and was particularly out to find a DEEP seat saddle for better contact with me horse and to deal with his BOUNCY trot!
Likes: Fantastic fit and easily adjustable. Easy change gullet system and adjustable flock filling. Removable knee rolls (I don't like the saddles with massive knee blocks) and adjustable Y girthing system. I have changed this saddle for a TB, riding pony and WB and have had it fitted to them (professionally) without a hassle each time.
Dislikes: Now the saddle costs $2300AUS which I think is mighty steep! I don't like the new CAIR system either due to its trouble with adjustments. However at the price I bought it and with flocking its great.
Quality: Leather is great, I found it has worn brilliantly. I always wipe it down after riding and give a proper clean once a month (or after rain). I always keep with stirrups and girth unattached as well. I have very little stirrup marks too and the skirt actually sits flat (unlike so many others!) I am yet to have to replace girth straps too. They have stretched a little, but pretty fantastic for 6 years.
Summary: A brilliant saddle that is easily adjustable between horses and puts you in a correct position in the saddle without forcing you there with massive knee blocks. My pride and joy- I wouldn't swap it for anything!
