Purchase: I've had two of these saddles. Bought the first one slightly used for $1900. The second was also used and was about $1500, but it's hard to say because it was included in the purchase price of a horse.
Likes: This is a beautiful saddle made of high-quality leather. The strapping holds up well, as does the dye. The thigh blocks seem to help position my leg correctly, so I really like riding in this model. I've used this model on four horses. In all cases, the saddle has looked well balanced on the horses and has caused no discomfort to them that I could detect.
Dislikes: The 2000D is made from a double layer of leather on the flaps. The top layer had a tendency to wrinkle somewhat on my first saddle. When I bought my second saddle from a professional who had a rather active leg, she had rubbed through this top layer of leather in one spot on her stronger side. A friend who owns this model has had the same experience with rubbing through the top layer of leather on the flap. This leads me to think that the double layer of thinner leather is less durable than the single layer in most Prestige saddles.

Summary: Both of my 2000D saddles have fit refined horses with high withers as well as broader horses with less-well-defined withers. I love riding in these saddles. I only wish they had a single thicker layer of leather on the flap.
