Purchase: I purchased this detangler on line. After a lot of research I found a 32-oz. bottle for about $37.50 from PetVet Supply. I'm sure that other sites might have it more cheaply at different times.
Likes: (Please note: I comb my horse's tail before each ride and I never try to comb it without putting detangler on first.) Cowboy Magic Detangler and Shine has a slick, grease less feel and is an excellent detangler. Immediately after combing, the tail looks full, soft, and shiny.
Dislikes: At the start of my ride, the tail looks fabulous, but by the end of the ride, it's noticeably dusty. By the next day, the tail looks very dusty.

Summary: This detangler does a very good job, but even after it dries, it seems to attract dust. As a result, the tail looks tangle-free and shiny for only a short time. By the next day, the tail looks dingy again. Considering its high price, I don't think it's a good value.
