Purchase: I got several pairs on ebay for about $40. I was looking for something more flexible that protected tendons more than the sport boots I had been using for training.
Likes: These wraps have great padding, plus they must have more comfort for the horse than the stiff boots. They wash up well, and even look good. Plus they come in great colors. My horse's legs are dry, and not hot after use. I live in a climate that is quite hot in the summer, and my horse overheats easily with his Friesian breeding. The fit allowed by using wraps will always be better than velcro boots that are not as adjustable.
Dislikes: They are a bit pricey, but maybe time will tell, and they will wear well.
Quality: The padding is stitched well--rather quilted to avoid pressure spots. The rest of the wrap is stretchy, sturdy and easy to handle.
Summary: I think I have found the best tool for training, with comfort, safety, and quality.
