Purchase: I bought this saddle because it was the only new saddle I could afford that was close contact. I paid $299 for it at State line Tack.
Likes: I like the price and the color is ok. It has held up ok.
Dislikes: This saddle doesn't help me stay correct or balanced in my seat. This saddle is very "hard" and I can not "grip" to it at all over the jumps. The stirrups seem to keep my legs further back compared to other saddles I have ridden in at the barn. This saddle is not for a beginner or intermediate rider. It teaches bad leg positions.
Quality: the construction has held up fine. It's color is already fading on the skirts. It is less than one year old.
Summary: I wouldn't recommend this saddle for anyone. It pays to invest in a good saddle...considering your well being could depend on it! A large hospital bill isn't worth saving a few hundred dollars in a quality saddle.
