Purchase: I had just gotten a horse and my friend bought him this. She paid $15.00 from statelinetack.com.
Likes: It smelled great and was easy to hag up from the ceiling with extra rope (our ceiling is really high- we have a hay loft that goes over part of the stall, it's weird)
My horse loves it. A nice thing is that you can refill the treat part, instead of chucking it after i is all gone
Dislikes: My horses tongue got red and scratched from the licking so I had to put it down for a while. That and the problem that other horses tried to go into his stall are the only down side to this product. (Our horses are run into the stable and they know there stalls)
Quality: The quality was great. It has been kicked and bitten but hasn't broken once. It is easy to change the treat part. The refills come in different flavors, which he loves.
Summary: This is a great thing to buy your horse but be careful about how much time s/he gets with it or s/he might have the same tongue problem. Other than that I say try it out.
