Purchase: I bought these paddock boots from a State Line Tack store in Washington for $99.
Likes: I love the foot bed of these, it's really comfortable and cushy. The sole has a really nice design that doesn't hold sand, and the leather is amazing. It broke in very quickly and is really strong. The black color is really nice and it doesn't ever get the "stinky leather" smell.
Dislikes: The zippers on the boots were very cheap, I was very disappointed at their quality. They are brass zippers, and only after a good 6 months of use, they broke. I zipped them up, and when my ankle got flexed by standing on the ground, the zipper undid from the point of the ankle. A week later, the other zipper did it. So now I have 2 boots with broken zippers.
Quality: The quality of the overall boot is wonderful, but the zippers were horrible. I was very saddened at their quality.
Summary: Bottom line, don't buy any Ariat zipper products. Ariat did offer to take them back, but only if the State Line tack I bought them from would take them back and they won't.
