Purchase: I came across a County Stabilizer All Purpose/Jumping Saddle at the Dog and Pony Shop in Delta, BC, Canada. It was in the store as a consignment item, and it was in great condition, and was priced at $1800.00 CDN Funds.
Likes: First of all I really liked the look of the saddle. It has lighter colored leather, and a very sleek look to it. It is quite honestly the most comfortable saddle I have EVER ridden in. I tried 20 different saddles on my mare (a 16hh thicker-build TB). This saddle fit me perfectly as well as my mare. She is difficult to fit as her shoulders are very large, and I am difficult to fit as I have quite short legs,especially from my hip to my knee. This saddle lets your leg fall naturally and give you a very snug, solid fit while you are riding. I have used this saddle in dressage, stadium and cross country while eventing. It was an incredible find and I recommend giving County Saddley's Stabilizer a try!
Dislikes: There is absolutley nothing that I don't like about this saddle.
Quality: This product is of exceptional quality. Once purchasing my saddle and riding in it approx. 6 months, I was still copletley satisfied and actually wrote County Saddlery an e-mail telling them what I liked about their product.
Summary: Anyone looking to invest in a very high-quality saddle should definitley give County Stablizers a try! It's well worth it!
