Purchase: I'd tried a paste type probiotic for my eighteen year old mare. My vet had been out to give spring shots and noticed my mare's particularly foul gas. I told her my concerns and she suggested trying a probiotic. I'd administered the paste product as directed over an eight day period but by the tenth day her gas was back with a vengence! I spoke with a Manna Pro representative at the Equine Affaire and was convinced to try their probiotic product Opti-Zyme. Opti-Zyme can be purchased at your Tractor Supply store. $14.95 for a 3lb re-sealable ziplock type bag.
Likes: The re-sealable bag was handy and a measuring scoop is included in the bag. Opti-Zyme is a pleasant smelling meal type supplement that was easy to feed. The Opti-Zyme effectively eliminated my mares foul gas. I decided to give all three of my mares a scoop to help them adjust to the new spring pasture and not one of them has developed a gas problem this season.

Summary: I was very pleased with the performance of the Opti-Zyme. My mare was cranky prior to feeding Opti-Zyme and has returned to her pleasant, agreeable self. I really want to thank the Manna Pro representative for taking the time to explain the use and benefits of her product. It performed as promised.
