Purchase: I bought this saddle (no Cair or Easy change Gullet)for $500 used 7 years ago when I bought my Arabian mare. It fit her so well that the owner offered to sell it to me with all the fittings.
Likes: I really like how the saddle doesn't hold you in place. It lets you move with your horse a lot better than most dressage saddles. I also really like the quality of the leather. At almost 15 years of age it looks almost brand new! It hardly has any wear on the flaps from the stirrups and I rode in it at least 3 times a week.
Dislikes: I really can't think of a lot that I don't like about the saddle other than it doesn't fit my current horse! And it doesn't have point billets!
Quality: The leather is of excellent quality. Like I said it doesn't have hardly any wear on the flaps and still looks awesome! I haven't seen a saddle of its age honestly look better.
Summary: This saddle is fantastic. If you don't need the cair panel or easy change gullet this is a great saddle that you can get for very reasonable. I would not have bought a new saddle except for it not fitting my new horse.
