Purchase: I borrowed the Fieldhouse Event saddle from a friend for a new horse and found it so amazingly comfortable that I thought I'd buy one! But I plan to do some showing as well so figured I'd buy the VSD version. I new the exact size I wanted so put an advert on the internet, a woman in England replied and so I bought it 2nd hand from her for £450 (they're about £675 brand new).
Likes: It is slightly straighter cut than the event version which I find puts me in a very good position and I can very securely jump in it too. It is very very comfortable and looks really nice. It has lasted very well (considering I bought it 2nd hand in the first place). It's the best saddle I've ever owned and will definately buy from Fieldhouse again!
Dislikes: Nothing! Only the fact the make doesn't fit my Welsh Cob but that's because he is a very strange shape to fit! I would have loved it to have CAIR air panels as standard!
Quality: Very well made and very good quality. Has lasted very well and is still in excellent condition.
Summary: A fabulous saddle which looks good, is very comfortable and puts you in the right position for all activities.
