Purchase: Purchased one new and one used. I ordered my first one and received it in 2004. Did not want to wait for a second one so found a barely used one in great condition.
Likes: Love the saddles. They are comfortable and fit everything I have put them on. The quality is very good and the saddles are beautiful. I like that the same person who starts the saddle completes the saddle.
Dislikes: There is not much to not like about these saddles. It is hard to wait the six to eight months for a saddle to be made. I have been having problems getting the conchos that I lost replaced. I have owned other saddles and used the more often then these and NEVER lost a concho.
Quality: I lost a concho in the same place on each saddle. I have emailed and called Three Forks Saddlery off and on for the past six months or so and still have two saddles that are missing a concho.
Summary: I have been trying to get conchos replaced that have fallen off for almost 6 months - I have gotten nowhere!!! This is very disappointing - especially since these are not low-end saddles.
