Purchase: Hi, I bought this off e-bay for $40.00 to have for my show helmet for low level dressage show. They retail for around $60.00.
Likes: Not very much. I'll have to say this is a nice looking helmet while in the box, with nice velvet and seemed to offer good features, but once on, it was horrible. I did like the harness though, as it was soft and lightweight.
Dislikes: I liked the idea of the dial fit system, and thought I would try it since I sometimes have a hard time trying to find a good fit, but it didn't really work. The helmet claimed to be low profiling, but it looked huge on my head and it wasn't very comfortable and felt a little heavy compared to others. It may work for some though, and would be great for a barn where it is shared between riders.
Quality: The construction looks good, but like I said not comfortable at all, and the dial to adjust the different sizes seemed kind of flimsy. I'm not really sure on the long term since I returned it.
Summary: I'm probably being a little too harsh, because for some it probably works great but for me I didn't really like it and would opt for the traditional helmets with out the dial fit.
