Model: Western Cordura Saddle with Oregon Round Skirts
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: I got this saddle from my trainer. It was used and we paid approximately $300 for it in fair condition.
Likes: I love the low maintenance. Most of it is cordura which is super easy to clean. The leather is soft and looks to be good quality. I also like how lightweight the saddle is. It is lighter than my english saddle! This is a big bonus. I also like the deep-ish suede seat. If my horse bucks of bolts I can stay on.
Dislikes: I don't like how one of the Dee rings to attach the breastplate had already fallen off the saddle when I got it. This probably wasn't the maker's fault though. I also didn't like how the leather got mouldy but this was my fault.
Quality: The saddle looks to be well built. The leather is great quality. I have scratched it with my belt buckle several times and it wasn't damaged.
Summary: I think that this is a great saddle for anyone who doesn't show.
