Purchase: I got this saddle online, used, for about $400.00 from a very convenient used saddle distributor, but since then it has been shut down.
Likes: The saddle gave me a nice, forward position for jumping, and it had a reasonable price. The leather seemed nice enough, and it was well made.
Dislikes: The seat is almost unbearably uncomfortable on account of how hard it is. It felt like I was sitting on a piece of metal. And the "spring tree" it claims to have that fits every horse did not even fit my medium-wide appendix quarter horse. It was far too narrow. I ended up having to sell it as it pinched my horse's withers too much.
Quality: The saddle seems well made. All the stitching was secure, and the leather was smooth and unblemished. I did not truly have the saddle for long enough to know how well it would hold up.
Summary: For all the sensitive-bottomed riders, definitely get a different saddle. Your butt will thank you after sitting in this brick of a saddle. And get it on trial to make sure that the spring tree actually fits your horse...
