Purchase: These suede half-chaps are from Picov's Horseman Centre in Ajax, Ontario, and they cost $59.95. They are very useful in giving better grip through the legs which helps me when I ride the sometimes high-strung thoroughbred I ride at my local stable.
Likes: I like that they are long-lasting and have the stretch-rib calf, so they fit all my pants and paddock boots. They fit really well too.
Dislikes: I can't think of anything I don't like about these half-chaps. They may not be the top-quality leather half-chaps, but for suede ones they are pretty good.
Quality: They are good quality and have a nice feel, and they grip really well because of the stretch-ribbing. They conform to your leg shape and fit nicely. They come in black and brown, and are easily maintained.
Summary: These are excellent half-chaps at an affordable price. I recommend those of you with lower budgets to give them a try.
