Purchase: I bought these dress boots from Picov's in Ajax, Ontario. They were discontinued so instead of paying the usual $250 Cdn, I only paid around $115 Cdn.
Likes: The boots have an epoxy rippled sole that gives awesome grip in the irons, and they're also comfortable to wear while walking around.
After riding only a few times, they're already starting to break in a little.
The boots also have spanish tops (ie: the outside top of the boot is higher then the inside).
Dislikes: I'm pretty short (5'2") and since these boots are so tall, they pinch the back of my knee a little when I walk - though I suspect this will stop after they've been broken in more.
Quality: Not a top of the line boot, but not cheapo either. I plan on using these boots for hacking around in, and should I plan to show this year - they'll be great for that as well.
As I mentioned earlier, they've got epoxy rippled soles for grip, spur rests and cuff linings.
Summary: For what I paid, these boots are an awesome deal!
They seem like they'll last a long time and I'm really happy with them so far.
