Manufacturer: Collegiate
Model: Post-Graduate Senior Event Saddle
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: This saddle is not actually mine, but is the property of someone who boards at the barn, but hardly ever rides. I am hoping to purchase it within the next few months when I have enough money, but I am using it for free at the moment. I needed a saddle to fit the horse who I was riding (he's 18 hands and requires a rather wide tree), and on a whim I tried this one, and it fit perfectly! I will be paying $500-$600 for the saddle, put the current owner paid close to $1,000.

Likes: This specific saddle has a supple, deep seat that allows sitting and balancing easy despite my horse's extra long stride! The leather is soft and flexible, and the build of the saddle doesn't have any strange parts (ie, extra high pommel or a low cantle), and the knee rolls are the perfect size.

Dislikes: Although the leather is, in most respects, wonderful, there is a small problem. Even the smallest moisture spot is difficult to remove, and rubbing from the stirrup leathers is very visible on the flaps.

Quality: The quality is excellent; tightly constructed with no loose parts or uncomfortable spots that bother the rider, or, as far as I can tell, the horse.

Summary: I would highly recommend this saddle to anyone; it holds a full body well and balances weight very evenly over your horse's back.
