Purchase: I bought this sheet because I needed a medium weight sheet to use as a show sheet and also to keep my horse a little warmer when it starts to get cool. I paid $49.95 for this sheet. I went to StateLineTack's store and bought it, so I didn't have to pay shipping and handling.
Likes: I really like this sheet! I didn't know a whole lot about blankets and such, so I wasn't sure about the warmth, but found that this sheet worked very nicely. It fit my horse fairly well. It has a double buckle closure in the front, double surcingles, and removable elastic leg straps. It is 100% cotton, so it is breathable and dries quickly when wet. When this sheet did get rained on, it held a TON of water, but it kept my horse completely dry. It has nylon lined shoulders, and helps to prevent rubs on the shoulders. The sheet washes nicely, and stands up to the abuse of my horse and his pasture buddy.
Dislikes: The fabric didn't hold up so well. The first time a horse bit it, it ripped quite extensively. However, being cotton, it sewed up nicely. My horse also managed to rip a surcingle by rolling, but it wasn't too bad. Even though the sheet fit well, it still rubbed my horses shoulders, and I had to buy a shoulder guard. The biggest thing I didn't like was that the sheet turned from a nice green to a bleached out brown where it came in contact with my horse's urine from laying down in his stall.
Quality: 100% cotton sheet. Nice quality, good stitching, and attractive design.
Summary: Overall, not too bad. Having only paid $50 and having had the sheet for two years, it has held up well. Would definitely buy it again, and might need to if the horses don't stop biting it!
