Essex
Chestnut Raised Bridle
English Bridles
Manufacturer: Essex
Model: Chestnut Raised Bridle
Category: English Bridles
Purchase: I buy all of my tack from State Line. I bought this bridle about 4 years ago for $49.99, and I think the price is the same now.
Likes: This bridle has held up extremely well. I use it for both school and show. It's economical but still a good quality.
Dislikes: The reins are becomming a bit soft and floppy but after 4 years, that's not too bad.
Quality: Though the Essex is considered 'economy' it is still made very well. The laces on the reins are still in-tact, the leather has not broke or split, and the stitching is still perfect.
Summary: Unlike some horse people I meet, I'm on a budget. (I think most of us are though) The Essex is a good quality bridle for the price.
