Purchase: I bought the Ultra bit with roller at my local tack shop, after looking at it for 3 weeks! I paid $187.50 canadian! (which probably explains why it took me so long to decide on it!)
Likes: When I first saw the Ultra bit (endorsed by Lisa Wilcox) I thought it would be the thing for my horse that was constantly sticking his tongue out! he was also creating copious amounts of slobber when being ridden in a plain loose ring snaffle. I even tried a D-ring snaffle with a copper roller in order to save the big purchase price on the ultra bit. But the horse leaned into it and was VERY heavy. So I held my breath and bought the ultra bit with roller.( now legal in states and Canada for dressage) SUCCESS! He bends, is soft , has a much quieter mouth and almost never sticks his tongue out now , after only one week.
Dislikes: I like everything about it.
Quality: beautifully made bit, smooth edges, quality is obvious!
Summary: Well worth the dollars to me!!!
