Purchase: I bought this product at the local feed store for 14.00 because I wanted a fly spray that did not need to be reapplied everyday and was waterproof and sweat proof.
Likes: It worked well on my dogs fleas!
Dislikes: Had to reapply often, it did not repel flies and did not live up to it's claim.
Quality: Bottle sprayed evenly and did not clog.
Summary: Like all horse owners the job of reapplying fly spray everyday can get expensive and tedious, so I was very interested when I heard about this product. Unfortunately what this products claims is too good to be true. I followed the directions correctly and had terrible results. Each time I go out to the barn I have to re-apply this spray. It is not sweat proof or waterproof and does not repel flies once it is dry. I have gone through a 32oz bottle in two weeks using it on just one horse! I expected to save money because I did not have to use it as often but that has not been the case. I find myself using more of this product then any other fly spray I have used. DuraGuard is especially bad at repelling stable flies and biting flies which are the most annoying! I am very disappointed in this product and believe absorbine is committing false advertising.
