Purchase: I have been looking for a saddle for quite sometime. My horse is a typical wide quarter horse, so it is really hard to find a saddle that fits him. I had used the wintecs in the past and really like the easy-change gullet system, but I wanted a nicer saddle than that. So when I saw the Collegaite made a saddle with the same gullet system I wanted to try it out. I bought one a demo on ebay for 600.00 though it retails for around 1,000.
Likes: This is a really comfortable saddle. It puts your leg in a good position and is nice to look at. The price was also really good.
Dislikes: The only thing that I don't like about this saddle is that the coloring rubs off very quickly.
Quality: This is a really well made saddle. The stitching is well done and the leather is of good quality. The flocking is soft, but not too soft.
Summary: I think that this is a really nice saddle. Definitely worth the money.
