Purchase: I have purchased 2 pairs of the Horseshoes. They were both purchased through the catalog, The Fort. One pair was on sale and then the regular price is $49.95 but can be bought for $40.
Likes: I really love these shoes. They have been a lifesaver for my feet as I teach riding lessons as well as ride and therefore must be on my feet. The cushion is great for walking as well as for riding. They are almost waterproof so my feet have stayed dry when everyone in leather was wet! They have a very supportive insole as well as being very padded for warmth as well as support.
Dislikes: These shoes are pretty stiff at the beginning. It takes a while for them to mold to your feet and soften. They are not necessarily the most "fashionable" look and because of the material used- they don't clean up as well as a smooth surface would.
Quality: The athletic style paired with the western construction unites the best of 2 worlds. They are double stitched and well made with plenty of insole support. The 9/16 heel makes them comfortable to walk in as well as safe to ride in.
Summary: The Horseshoes make a wonderful barn shoe as well as riding or walking shoe. They are durable and able to withstand all the stall elements as well as weather.
