Purchase: I bought this through the Dover Summer Sale catalogue. It was $29.99, reduced from the usual $40 I believe.
Likes: It was exactly what I was looking for! A lot of the other riders at my barn began using half pads and wither relief pads so I decided to buy one for myself. It conformed to my saddle in about 2 rides but still provides my horse the comfort i was looking for. Plus it also makes me feel more comfortable while riding!! great price and quality, I've encountered no problems so far.
Dislikes: it was very stiff when i first got it, but after riding in it once or twice it conformed to my saddle nicely, as well as my horse's back. otherwise its great.
Quality: it is made of a fleece material, like most fitted saddle pads. on one side is quilted cotton and there is the wither relief slit on the top. Very fluffy and comfy!
Summary: bottom line is that its great!! a good buy if you don't want to dish out all of your cash for a Mattes or Beval Sheepskin pad. comfortable for both horse and rider.
